What are your session times?

Planetkids runs concurrent with all three Planetshakers Services - 10:45am, 3:00pm and 5:15pm on Sundays.

Is there a cost involved?

No, Planetkids is always a free service.

Do I need to provide a snack?

No snack is required for children in Grades 1 - 6. We do ask that parents of children aged 9 Months - Preps provide a healthy snack as we provide a time within our program where all the children will sit and eat their snacks.

What age groups do you cater for?

Planetkids runs services for the following age groups:

Twinkle Tots: 9 Months - 18 Months

Astros: 18 Months - 24 Months

Starbursts: 2 Year Olds

Comets: 3 Year Olds

Zoomers: 4 Year Old Kindy - Preps

Atomic: Grades 1 - 3

Planet46: Grade 4 - 6

Can I stay with my child in the Planetkids Program?

Parents are always welcome if that is what they wish.

Do I need to be on a volunteer roster?

This is not a requirement, however if you would like to help out, please talk to one of our leaders.

Do children get to go to the main service for Praise and Worship?

Yes, we take children from as young as our Astros (18 Months) up to Planet46 (Grades 4 - 6) into the main service for Praise and Worship at every service. We have a reserved area for the children on the first balcony.

What sort of screening do you do with your leaders?

We regard the safety of our children with the upmost regard. All leaders must complete an application form. Their references and background are then checked to ensure they are suitable to be working with children. Applicatants are required to obtain a Police Check and a Working with Children Check. Our leaders also receive ongoing training in relation to safety procedues concerning children.
