It was such a big year for me. It involved a lot of change, and huge amounts of growth. Spending a year focused on God and serving at Planetshakers was definitely a great decision.

Now as a bass guitar teacher at Planetshakers School of Creative Arts,
I get the privilege of seeing the new Creative ministry students grow spiritually as well as musically. For me, I look forward to seeing what God will do in the lives of those planning to use their gifts for the Glory of
God.

I can’t wait for what God’s got in store for the future!

The Planetshakers College has changed my life.

As an international student, it can seem scary at first to leave everything that you know to come to a church for a program like this. But that’s the thing, there isn’t a program like this anywhere else on earth!

I truly believe that there is something significant in getting out of your comfort zone and putting yourself in a place to encounter God in an amazing way! And God honours that, and He will meet you in a way you
have never experienced at Planetshakers.

I want to encourage everyone who is able to be part of College to just do it ! The life changing values you learn here are invaluable to you in your walk with Christ. I am a different person now, and I can’t wait to see what God is going to continue to do in my life!

Internationals! Get on a plane and put your self in a place to radically encounter God, it will be the decision of a lifetime!

The Planetshakers College year has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life!

While undertaking a new journey in the natural, I found myself at a place where I was constantly discovering new things about myself and my creator in greater levels of intimacy than ever before. This year has allowed me to discover not just who I am as an individual, but who I am in Christ.

The weekly tutorials and lectures of the Certificate Four provided an open environment for discussion and hence a place to raise the
deepest questions of the heart and solidify my faith.

Pastoral/Prayer Ministry has given me the chance to discover how the church operates on a daily basis from administration to intercessory
prayer, pastoral visits and so much more. The opportunity to serve such passionate, faith filled, spirit lead leaders has been the greatest honour
for me throughout my internship.

This year has been such a year of transformation in my life. I came into the year not knowing what to expect but knowing that it was where
God wanted me to be. To look back and see what God has done and
continues to do in my life, I now see it has gone above and beyond all expectations.

“Giving a year to God” is so much more than a simple phrase, it has enabled me to experience a relationship with God greater than I had ever dreamed. I have developed skills that I will take with me through life, and I have had the honour of serving such a spirit filled vision under such awesome pastors.

The event stream has given me such an insight into what goes into an
event, from the preparation and planning, the importance of having a heart to serve, the team that you work alongside to pull it all together, and our God that makes it such a powerful event!

I really encourage you to come into the Planetshakers College with an open heart and mind and see what God can do.

Applying for the Planetshakers College was the best thing I have ever decided to do (apart from my salvation of course).

Being part of the Media stream gave me the opportunity to not only
be a part of the best Media team there is, but to be surrounded daily by leaders who saw the creative potential in me and were determined to see me grow.

College is all about developing the gift that God has given to you, and the Media stream is the perfect place to see that happen. Being in this
stream opened up my eyes to see the huge impact we can have on this nation and this world through media.

Through the year, I was involved in producing City News, videos for Planetshakers and Beautiful Woman Conference, and many other productions. I am amazed at how much my skills have stretched
and grown in such a short period of time.

When you decide to give God your time and energy, it is amazing what He can do with you, in you and through you.

Planetshakers gave me a whole new perspective on the way I saw Children’s Ministry in the Church. God has unlocked a passion inside of
me to see a generation of people won for Christ all around the world.

During the year I learnt what it meant to be a leader, take responsibility, and to serve in a way that I would not have otherwise been capable of. I experienced pastorally caring for children, preaching
the word, training, discipleship and was able to be a part of an International Children’s Curriculum.

This has given me the opportunity to serve God and the Local Church at a whole new level.

Planetshakers College has been a life changing experience for me. God stretched me in ways that were beyond my human ability to work out, so that I could no longer rely on myself but solely on Him.

I learnt that in ministry I really needed God to be on my team to see the fruits and not try to run ahead of God and try to do things based on self-effort. The discipleship sessions were revelation after revelation,
and I have learnt so much from the Pastors who were so nurturing and patient towards myself, teaching us the Word.

I thought I knew God well, but this year showed me so much more of God that I never knew. It broke so many lies of the enemy that I use to believe in, but now I know who I am and where I stand in God’s eyes.

I feel so much more empowered now doing God’s work and I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made ! It is AWESOME!!!

It has been the best year of my life! From the outset I knew that it would be unlike anything I had ever experienced, but I soon found that to be quite an understatement.

It’s been an incredible year of growth for me. I feel that I’ve learnt so much in such a small space of time. From the inspiring Jesus-centered teaching sessions, to the hands-on practical experience of
operating in the body of Christ, I feel empowered to walk in the full potential that God has for my life.

Most of all it was a great time of intimacy with God like never before. Building up a strong foundation through a dynamic devotional life
has uncovered purpose and calling within me that I had never imagined I could attain.

I can’t wait for what God’s got in store for me next!
