91301NSW Certificate IV in Contemporary Leadership (Church Work)

The one year Certificate IV in Contemporary Leadership builds a solid foundation of Biblical teachings and principles for ministry coupled with practical application and market-place skills across streams. Learners will have acquired the necessary knowledge, attitudes and skills to serve effectively as leaders in a variety of settings. It trains students with the skills needed to work within a small group ministry setting and prepares students for the role of assistant leader of a ministry team in a local church or Christian organisation  It also generally trains students with skills needed in marketplace careers in the same field as their stream’s ministry specialisation.

The Certificate IV in Contemporary Leadership is an accredited course that is completed in 1 year of full-time study.

 

To qualify for the Certificate, students must succesfully complete 12 units.

Part of the Certificate IV in Contemporary Leadership is the practical element of the course.

Students choose one Stream that identifies with their skills, strengths or likings. You will dedicate one day a week to Stream work.

Graduation
In 2011 Planetshakers will offer a Diploma in Contemporary Leadership. The Diploma will develop the competencies that the Certificate IV has built.  Students completing the Certificate IV will earn entry in to the the Diploma. Students successfully completing their first year of study who are not continuing onto the Diploma of Ministry can graduate with a Certificate IV in Contemporary Leadership. Continuing students will not graduate until the end of their second year.
